Try now. We found a bug and have just fixed it. Let me know if anything else pops up.

Letter to Tumblr's tech support
Hi, I noticed that sometime since last night, a ‘\n’ character started preceding the XML in the HTTP responses.  This is causing my app to fail the parsing.  It’s my understanding that if there is anything preceding the <?xml declaration it is not well-formed XML.  Is this a temporary condition? Thanks Andrew

acidpixel asked: How about an option to include share on Facebook too? I miss an option to reduce size and image compression. Post photos via 3G is extremely time consuming. Several times, in the version 1.8, the app closed while I selected a photo, before posting. I have a HTC Ultimate.

Anonymous asked: Could you please allow TumbleBee to cache the last updates to the Dashboard, so that if you load it without Internet connection, you can still see the last downloaded updates? Also, please make it easier to save photos from blogs without having to "view" each entry in IE.

I thin there may be more of the settings page that I can't see but I cannot scroll to find out. When I try to post in landscape mode I cannot change the post date and time because it is cut off and i cannot scroll to see it. if these are all...

Anonymous asked: Hey, I downloaded the free trial for Tumblebee on my Omnia 7 a month or so ago. It worked fine the first few times I used it, but recently it's just been dumping me back to the home screen every time I try and open it - is this just a way of telling me the trial's expired, or is it a bug?

That's the only thing that bothers me. Hah.
Other than that, good work :)

Anonymous asked: Hi! I was wondering if there is any existing support for messaging in TumbleBee, and if not, is that something that will be implemented in future releases? For example, being able to respond to messages.

Also will there be any support for switching between tumblogs if you have more than one attached t your email???

Thx!

Review TumbleBee!
If you haven’t already done it, please go review TumbleBee on the Marketplace.  There are a bunch of dickheads giving me crappy reviews and it’s hurting my feelings.

New version coming...
I’m almost finished with version 1.6, which includes some UI changes (the three main screens “pivot”) and also Sharing integration in the Pictures hub. Should be in the Marketplace soon.

dylanistumblrx asked: First off, fantastic work on the app. Definitely the best Tumblr client for WP7. HOWEVER, I have a couple of gripes that are probably shared by others as well, that I would want to see in place before buying the app.

1. While vastly inferior to your offering, the Dash•Buddy app offers the option of Photo hub integration -- being able to take a picture with your Windows Phone...

dawolfey asked: I use tumble as a sort of "extended twitter", I am not all that interested in its own, similar, following system. There are a few features that I would find really useful.

1. You have added Twitter announcements, it it would be great if we could customise the tweet as you can on tumblr itself
2. Drafts. I would like to be able to compose a post then save it to...

Need to resubmit...
Comments: The application would hang and be unresponsive to user input for about 15 second when it is trying to load a high quality image (2 Megapixel or higher). This error was overlooked from the previous version. BOOO!!!  (Sorry for the delay everyone)

Version 1.5 Submitted
I finally submitted TumbleBee v1.5 to the Marketplace.  This version adds support for tagging posts, sending to Twitter and deferred posts (either “Add to Queue” or “Publish on Date”).  It corrects some other minor problems as well.  Hopefully it will be available by the end of the week.

Is the wptumblr gonna be taken down so other people don't have to buy twice by accident. Also do you know if there is any way of getting a refund, ad this is mainly down to MS being pedantic knobs?

Update coming...
After Engadget pointed out that you can’t browse through each person’s own blog posts I went ahead and made this possible. (I just never thought of this before.)  In the new update, if you tap the name of the blog in the dashboard it will bring up a new screen with just that person’s posts.  Hopefully this will be up within the week.

WPTumblr chosen by Engadget as an "essential app" →
Engadget chose WPTumblr as one of 18 “essential apps” for Windows Phone 7.  From the article: WPTumblr ($1.29). There’s no official Tumblr app for WP7 just yet, so here’s a third party release that we recommend. It’s not perfect, though — there’s no way to browse through each person’s own posts within the app; but other than that, all the essential...

TumbleBee v1.3 is now in the Marketplace →
TumbleBee (the successor to WPTumblr) is now in the marketplace.  This version includes auto-suggest on all text boxes, fixes a dashboard problem some people were having with unusual characters in their passwords, corrects some rendering problems and makes it much easier to navigate within text boxes (they are now scrollable). Again, I am sorry to all the people who bought the original WPTumblr...

Microsoft's Response
This threw me for a loop: Hi Andrew, Thank you for your patience. Your application failed policy because of its title “WPTumblr” because the team felt it might convey that it was an officially Microsoft sanctioned product. Rather, a name like “xx for Windows Phone 7” is generally permissible If you alter the title, please resubmit the app and it will be re-considered for...

Microsoft still blocking my update...
I submitted an update to WPTumblr a week and a half ago and Microsoft is blocking its certification on the grounds that I’m violating their content policy, since the app has “tumblr” in the name and that’s a registered trademark. The new update includes auto-suggest in all the textboxes and corrects some login problems that a few people were having. If they can’t...
